NC Campus Compact congratulates NC A&T Chancellor Harold Martin on his recent appointment to the Board for International Food and Agriculture Development (BFAID). President Barack Obama named Martin and other appointees to the board on November 27. BFAID advises the US Agency for International Development (USAID) on agriculture and higher education issues related to food security in developing countries. Since June 2009, Chancellor Martin has led NC A&T University, one of NC Campus Compact’s 40 member institutions committed to educating civically-engaged students and strengthening communities.
