Assistant Director for Community-Based Learning and Research

Working under minimal supervision, the Assistant Director supports the integration of academic learning into the development of student civic leadership skills by developing and facilitating community-based learning (CBL) and community-based research(CBR). By providing student and faculty engagement in reciprocal and sustainable CBL and CBR projects, this position facilitates student leadership development and provides guidance and support for student-run initiatives. The Assistant Director takes over management and supervision of the entire Collaborative in the event of the Director’s absence, leave, or incapacitation and is in that event empowered to make decisions on behalf of the Director in the best interest of the Collaborative.

Communications and Technology Coordinator, Collaborative for Community Engagement

Under indirect supervision, manages the “user interface” of the Collaborative in both print and online form; manages databases, maintains the web site, and provides administrative support for the office.
