Rocky Mount

Rocky Mount, just 45 minutes outside of Raleigh is a very recognizable and convenient spot for travelers to stop, particularly because of the intersection of Interstate 95 and Highway 64. Rocky Mount, NC is directly half way between Maine and Florida, making it a popular stop for travelers heading down the East Coast. Rocky Mount has a population of about 57,500, which makes it the 15th largest city in North Carolina. Rocky Mount has a large sports complex with multiple baseball fields, basketball fields and other sports fields, located just off of Highway 64.
