Jamesville

We ventured through Jamesville in the time it takes to blink an eye.  With a population of only 484 individuals and a total area of only 1.3 square miles, Jamesville, North Carolina lies on the coastal stretch of Highway 64.  Jamesville is a part of Martin, County North Carolina along with eight surrounding towns.

Around 233 housing units encompass the flat, green land but not much else excerpt Jamesville Elementary School, Mackey’s Landing Firearms, and Mackey’s Ferry Peanuts.  Though the expansive openness of Jamesville is prominent, Mackey’s Ferry Peanuts roasted peanut butter and chocolate wholly justified this quick stop.  Read about Mackey’s Ferry Peanuts here.
