Elon University Department of Physical Therapy Education Global Learning Opportunities (GLO) Program
The mission of Global Learning Opportunities for Elon University Doctor of Physical Therapy students is to develop global clinicians and informed leaders through a clinical and/or service-learning experience that takes place off campus in a professionally relevant setting. In each experience the student is immersed in a culture other than his/her own or in a culturally unique clinical setting.
Students GLO (yes, it can be a verb!) imbedded in their academic work (for credit as part of a class) or for a clinical rotation. GLO’s (yes, it can be a noun!) can occur in the US or in other countries.
